Poem #26 Guinevere

At dawn while you are asleep, I lie awake, thinking of all things I want to share with you, about all that I see, hear and experience, for you are the only that will listen so genuine,  when I sit with idle even for a moment, when I am occupied and catch a second of daydream, my thoughts go to you and only you, for you are worth every thought, in sadness, I will run to you, as I know you will understand the troubles, you share them as they are your own, for that is the good man that you are, even in failure you stay vigilant, with such calmness and patience, unlike myself who is the opposite, for you are the light to the darkness, happy and glad are such small words, as there are none to describe the feelings, of moments we shared together, for you are what is right in this world.

Poem #25 - Lovers In A Storm

Met not by chance but by effort, Arranging colors when they locked eyes, Youthful and full of hope, One day they'll see each other's grays, Inexperienced and brash made friction, A month of sorrows for both, Morning of the train greeted them, The heart grew larger scaring the head,  Exchanging essence unplanned, She sees her in him, Pessimistic and rushed, Concluding what needed to be left, The old traits gone by slow, New ones grew but nothing more, Invisible changes offered,  Physical ones non-existent, Four chronicles went, As did her wonder and curiosity, What she asked she didn't received, What she expect she didn't hoped, If this is the dead end she accept, Cycles of same no more, Weak reasoning behind, Ready to go into a new storm.

a smidge of happiness.

As I sit on my windowsill, I can see the cats in the neighbourhood stretching to get the last of the sleep out. The morning breeze blow on my face making my whole body cold for a split second. Its a new day to live. To go through. To endure. After tossing and turning for countless hours last night, I gave in to the insomnia and got up. The last hours of the night was spend pondering and listening to the millions of thoughts in my head.  I am not at my best right now. At anything. But then I wonder if I was ever the best at anything my whole life. I am currently struggling with emotions. Sometimes there are too many and sometimes not enough. I have been acting bitter to the people over small matters. I only say small because the subject might not be that important to the next person. Annoyance is another thing. As soon as somebody say something that is so irritating, my whole body gets angry. When I am sad or down, usually because of college, the people respond so awkwardly that it ma

The Colour Photography Challenge! Part II

Image
Hello friends! I've tried this challenge before and you can find it  here  if you're interested.  So this time around, I had asked a friend of mine to pick the 10 colours for the challenge. She also gave me a week to complete it. Unfortunately, I missed one colour. I didn't have anything of value in magenta. Maybe next time!  And so without further ado, let's begin!  (I decided not to edit the photos like last time although I did edit it to make the colours pop more. You might see the uneven colouring throughout all the photos. I'm still learning how to edit :D) 1. Gold  A Mockingjay pin. Of course its not made from real gold. This is a cheap novelty item I got when I was in high school. At that time, movies like The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, and Harry Potter were what everybody was talking about. I read the books religiously and it was generally a good time in my life. THG trilogy gave me what Harry Potter doesn't have. They don't have magic and witches.

Once Upon A Time Cafe

Image
Hai, so back in January, my family and I visited Penang and were looking online for places to go. I then found a cafe called "Once Upon A Time" and got extremely excited because, one of the selling points of this cafe is that it has a Harry Potter theme. So then, I decided, we had to go! So this is the entrance to the cafe. Its located at Lebuh Keng Kwee, Georgetown. When we were looking for it, we accidently walked past it and had to go back when we realized it. They didn't really have the name of the cafe in big letters. At this point. I was already excited because we finally found it.  The Place   The cafe is 2 stories tall. They have some Harry Potter merchandise hanging around. They also had some other themes going on; Alice in Wonderland, Sherlock Holmes and others I can't seem to recall anymore.  These pictures were taken on the second story. They only had maybe 2 or 3 tables up there. Most of the space were used to put the decorations pieces and the owners cle

Purr the Cat

Image
Ginger boi the stray cat This is a story about a girl and her best friend, a cat.   For as long she can remember, Aisha has always had that cat. Her name is Persephone; Aisha’s mother named it a long time ago. She was clearly obsessed with Greek mythology. They call her “Purr”. Not sure if that’s clever or just plain cliché. The cat came first before Aisha. Her parents adopted Purr after they found her as a sick kitten outside of their house one night. They nurse her back to health and gave her all the love in the world. Shortly after came Aisha. Purr used to climb in Aisha’s crib and fall asleep in between her limbs.   Actually, just yesterday her mother found the ball of grey fur in her daughter’s bed. They used to bring Purr out for walks. She likes that. Sometimes, Aisha would put Purr in the front basket of her bicycle and go around the neighbourhood. Purr likes the fresh air, especially now that she is in her golden age. Since Aisha is an only child, Purr has been more than jus
